Skomer Island Designed by Helen Dale of Moorcroft
Skomer Island Designed by Helen Dale of Moorcroft Helen has reworked her puffin design. After all, who can honestly say they don’t like puffins? Their comical appearance is heightened by their red and black eye-markings and bright orange legs. This clown among seabirds is one of the world’s favorite birds. With half of the UK population at only a few sites, it is a Red List species, according to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Helen’s design is a brilliant cacophony of movement, underwater chaos, bubbles and colour as puffins scramble and dive to catch tasty morsels. The birds are frequent visitors to Skomer Island, less than a mile off the beautiful Pembroke shire coast.
