Sand Lizard 780/4 Coaster by Moorcroft
Sand Lizard 780/4 Coaster by Moorcroft Designed by Vicky Lovatt Numbered Edition. The acidic sandy soil on the restored heath land at RSPB Farnham Heath in Surrey is the perfect habitat for sand lizards, and several re-introductions have now taken place there to try to boost the population. Most recently, a project between the RSPB and ARC saw a group of 21 lizards released, but ‘test burrows’ found elsewhere on the reserve show that sand lizards from previous introductions are also breeding. For such a small creature, Vicky chose a small coaster shape, on which a sand lizard twists and turns as he tries to scuttle away to his burrow.
