Clustered together, as if plotting the rescue of Hamlet himself, Galanthus ‘Ophelia’ snowdrops dangle large, skirted flowers from tall scapes like a damsel’s hennin from a turret. The white petals sport bold apical lime-green marks on the inner segments, a mark of this most unusual snowdrop. The Moorcroft designer carefully layers the virgin-white concave outer petals over a cornflower-blue mist that settles over deep waters.
